The long version of this page protects us. The short version protects you, and here it is first. FreeClickTools does not collect your personal information, does not create accounts, and never uploads your files anywhere. Everything you create or process on this site happens inside your own browser.
Running entirely in your browser
Every JSON formatter, code beautifier, image converter and AI tool on this site is a small program that runs in your browser tab. When you paste text or drop an image, the data is processed on your device with JavaScript. Your files never travel over the internet to a server we control, and they are never stored. Once you close the tab, nothing about your session remains except whatever you chose to download.
The only exceptions are a few open source helper libraries that the code tools load from a public CDN in order to format HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Those requests fetch the library itself, never your file contents.
What we collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, file contents or any information you type into a tool. We do not use cookies for our own purposes. We do not sell data, because we do not have any.
Advertising and automatic logs
This site is free to use because it is paid for by advertising. Like almost every website on the internet, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs for security and performance, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We cannot personally identify you from these logs.
Advertising partners, including Google AdSense and other networks we may work with, may place cookies and use web beacons to serve and measure ads. They use these to limit how often you see an ad and, on some networks, to show ads that are more relevant to you. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's own privacy policy and in the How Google uses information from sites guide.
Your choices about advertising
You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at the Google Ads Settings page. You can also visit aboutads.info to learn more about interest based advertising and industry opt out programs. Disabling personalised ads does not remove ads, it simply makes them less tailored to you.
Files never leave your device
This is the promise we want you to trust the most. Converting a private document, photo or dataset on a random website feels risky, because on most sites it is. On FreeClickTools it simply does not happen. The conversion code runs locally, so a private photo becomes a public upload only if you choose to download it and share it yourself.
If a future tool does need a network connection to work, it will say so clearly on that page. Making that distinction obvious is part of how we stay trustworthy.
Children's privacy
FreeClickTools is a general utility site and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. There is no account creation and no way for us to store information about a child even if we wanted to.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if anything changes, and the "last updated" date at the top will reflect the new version. Material changes will be described in plain language here.
